Jesse Cronen, Senior Vice President, Sales, has been in the home lending industry since 2005, helping homebuyers and real estate investors find financing strategies that support their immediate goals and long-term financial plans.

Jesse has extensive experience helping clients finance primary residences, second homes, vacation homes, short-term rental (STR) properties, and real estate investment properties. He specializes in Conventional, government, portfolio, bank statement, DSCR, and All In One loans, giving him a broad range of financing solutions for borrowers ranging from first-time homebuyers to experienced real estate investors.

In addition to his lending experience, Jesse is a seasoned real estate investor and short-term rental owner himself, with a portfolio of STR and investment properties. His firsthand experience as both a lender and property owner gives him a unique perspective on the financing considerations, opportunities, and challenges that real estate investors and short-term rental owners encounter. Jesse understands these transactions not only from the lending side, but also from the perspective of an investor evaluating financing, cash flow, property performance, and long-term strategy.

A significant part of Jesse's practice involves helping clients navigate second-home and investment-property financing, including short-term rentals, vacation rentals, and financing scenarios that may not fit traditional mortgage guidelines. He works with each borrower to understand the property, income, financial profile, and investment objectives before helping them evaluate the available financing options for their situation.

Jesse believes mortgage financing should be about more than simply closing a loan. Whether a client is purchasing a primary residence, second home, vacation property, short-term rental, or building a real estate investment portfolio, his goal is to help clients understand their options and make informed financing decisions that support their long-term financial goals.

Jesse's commitment to his clients and consistent production have earned him recognition from the Mortgage Bankers Association of Louisville (MBAL), where he was recognized as Top Overall Loan Officer by units and volume for 11 consecutive years, from 2015 through 2025.

A Louisville native, Jesse is a 2000 graduate of St. Xavier High School. He attended the University of Kentucky and Indiana University Southeast, studying Business and Political Science.

Outside of mortgage lending and real estate investing, Jesse enjoys spending time with his wife, Shelly, and their four daughters, Caroline, Laila, Riley, and Harper, along with their Cavapoo, Ashton. He enjoys coaching his daughters in basketball and softball and stays active in both sports himself.
