Community Reinvestment Act Public File

The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) of 1977 encourages banks to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they do business, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.  Under the CRA, the following information must be maintained in a public file, current as of April 1 of each year.

  • All public comments and responses related to Northpointe Bank’s performance in meeting community credit needs received for the current year (updated on a quarterly basis for the prior quarter by March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31) and each of the prior two calendar years.
  • A copy of the Public Evaluation of Northpointe Bank’s most recent CRA Performance Evaluation.
  • The branch address and census tract: Northpointe Bank, 3333 Deposit Drive NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 and Census Tract 118.03.
  • Identification of addresses and census tracts for branches opened or closed by Northpointe Bank during the current year (updated on a quarterly basis for the prior quarter by March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31) and each of the prior two calendar years. No branches have been opened or closed.
  • A list of retail banking services, including Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm ET hours of operation, available deposit products and services and deposit transaction fees, and available loan products and loan origination costs of service and  loan servicing transaction fees.
  • A map of the assessment area showing the boundaries of the area and individual census tract list. Northpointe Bank has been approved to be evaluated under a strategic plan through December 31, 2026. As stated in the strategic plan, the Bank’s CRA Assessment Area is Kent County, Michigan. At the expiration of the strategic plan, the Bank will delineate and provide maps and census tracts for a facility-based assessment area and, as applicable, retail lending assessment area(s).
  • A CRA Disclosure Statement. The CRA Disclosure Statement is not applicable to the Bank.
  • A Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) Notice. Northpointe Bank’s HMDA Disclosure Statement may be obtained from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at www.consumerfinance.gov/hmda.
  • Northpointe Bank’s CRA Strategic Plan, if applicable.
