Ryan Gummere was born to a school custodian father and a stay-at-home mother. Through hard work and opportunity, his family purchased their first home in Alger Heights.

Homeownership and the wealth that it creates are the primary reasons Ryan was the first person in his family to go to college. After college, he completed a short tenure working for the Franklin County Department of Human Services in Columbus, OH. After moving back home to Michigan in 2002, he accepted an offer to become a home loan expert with Northpointe Bank. Ryan is proud to celebrate his 21st year with Northpointe. Those values and the programs offered have allowed Ryan to pursue his passion and purpose; to help individuals and families with low- to moderate-income become first-time homeowners and work alongside key community stakeholders to create innovative solutions for future homebuyers.
