Ryan Gummere - Bringing You Home

Buy or refinance a home with help from Ryan Gummere at Northpointe Bank

Ryan Gummere was born to a school custodian father and a stay-at-home mother. Through hard work and opportunity, his family purchased their first home in Alger Heights.

Homeownership and the wealth that it creates are the primary reasons Ryan was the first person in his family to go to college. After college, he completed a short tenure working for the Franklin County Department of Human Services in Columbus, OH. After moving back home to Michigan in 2002, he accepted an offer to become a home loan expert with Northpointe Bank. Ryan is proud to celebrate his 21st year with Northpointe. One of Northpointe Bank's main values promotes "building trusted, lifelong relationships with the communities we serve." Those values and the programs offered have allowed Ryan to pursue his passion and purpose; to help individuals and families with low- to moderate-income become first-time homeowners and work alongside key community stakeholders to create innovative solutions for future homebuyers.

If you feel you have little hope of catching the elusive dream of home ownership, Ryan would be grateful for the opportunity to meet with you. It is his job to help you knock down barriers so you can become a homeowner, build wealth, and have your chance at the American dream.

Working with Ryan was a positive experience, he was professional, responsive, and made the mortgage process much smoother. However, the support team behind him was quite difficult to deal with. They repeatedly asked for the same documents, often in a demanding and unclear way, even though most of what they requested had already been provided multiple times. It became evident that, aside from Ryan, few people on the team were actually reviewing the information carefully until it was sent for the fourth or fifth time. Overall, Ryan did an excellent job managing a frustrating situation, but the backend process definitely needs improvement.

Thanks Zack! We went through 2 or 3 different banks before coming to Northpointe. At first i was skeptical due to our unusual scenario but Zack got it done and ended up better than i expected.
