Chris Henwood has worked in banking since 2014. He began his career on Wall Street in 1989 working at the New York Mercantile Exchange, and was VP at Lehman Brothers and Goldman Sachs before launching his own trading firm in 1998. After more than 22 years in trading, Chris decided to shift gears and attended law school. For a brief period of time, he worked at Reuters News Service as their on-air expert on commodities and energy. Upon graduating from law school, he worked as a real estate attorney for a few years and realized that helping people with mortgages allowed him to utilize all aspects of his experience to the benefit of his clients.

Chris's favorite part of his job is helping people navigate and understand the mortgage process with as little stress as possible. He requests that his clients ask him any question they may have, no matter how silly they may seem. It is only through education and understanding that clients can become comfortable with the process, and Chris considers it his responsibility to make that happen. Comfortable and knowledgeable clients means happy clients, and Chris strives to have happy clients!

Chris is an affiliate member of the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors, as well as RealSource Association of Realtors. In his free time, Chris is a varsity football official, and also officiates sub-varsity and youth football. These roles allow him to be a part of the game that he loves and enjoys.
