Amanda Kourafas began her career following a management training program where she became an officer in the mortgage lending department of a commercial bank. Her extensive experience includes underwriting, holding specialized certifications, and reviewing over 100 condominium project submissions. Throughout her career, she has held the positions of Branch Manager, Sales Manager, and Loan Officer. Amanda also possesses real estate sales, life, and insurance licenses. Her greatest professional satisfaction comes from helping homebuyers achieve their dreams through careful planning, counseling, and successful closings. Amanda is a former member of real estate boards, non-profit youth service boards, Rotary International, and divorce professional groups. She has also founded two networking groups and a business book club.

Amanda graduated from Tufts University with a BA in sociology. She furthered her education at Bentley College, studying accounting, real estate appraisal, and business law. Amanda also pursued MBA courses through Clark University, focusing on Accounting I and II, Business Writing, and Business Law. Amanda enjoys various activities in her leisure time, including golf, skiing, swimming, gardening, and reading. She cherishes spending time at her home on the coast and in the mountains. Her family includes her husband, Kevin, a partner in a financial planning firm, and their son, Carter, who is graduating from Emmanuel College this year. Amanda's home office is kept company by Ginger, a brindle hound, two black cats, Midnight and Shadow, and tropical fish.
