Great awesome

I had a very scary experience that turned out very well, only because of Chris Bauman doing an absolutely fantastic job. There was a last minute spike to the loan payment that was unexpected by all parties due to an insurance issue. It was the last week before closing, in fact. I panicked, especially since this is my first home purchase. Speaking with family only increased the anxiety, as we all know stories of untrustworthy loan officers spiking the rate to pad their own pockets. I was almost ready to pull out. However, Chris explained what happened and why MULTIPLE times (and boy did I ask him over and over for all the details!) and was incredibly patient even when I admittedly put him through the ringer more than once. He took the time to explain exactly why the rate had changed, what we could do to fix it, what other options would look like at other banks, and other similar situations. He was incredibly patient, incredibly detailed, and answered all of my questions regardless of how many times I asked the same ones. I can't say enough how much I appreciated working with him. If I had run into the same insurance problems with another bank or even another loan officer, I likely would have just pulled out of the deal altogether and not gotten the amazing condo that I live in now. Seriously, thanks again Chris and Northpointe for the great experience!
