Josh has worked in banking since 1998 and has specialized in mortgages since 2014. He began his career as a bank teller at Old Kent Bank before moving into leadership roles including Assistant Branch Manager and AVP Branch Manager. In 2014, Josh transitioned into mortgage lending as an AVP Mortgage Loan Officer and quickly developed a passion for helping clients achieve their homeownership goals.

He joined Northpointe Bank in 2018 as a Senior Loan Officer, later serving as Sales Manager for the Grand Haven office. Before his return to Northpointe, he earned Pro-Elite status with United Wholesale Mortgage in 2023, 2024, and 2025 signifying a consistency to present and close files in an efficient, timely manner. Josh returned to Northpointe in August 2025 as a Senior Loan Officer on the Grand Rapids team, serving clients along the Lakeshore.

Josh is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, is certified as a Dave Ramsey Workplace Trainer, and has passed the Mortgage SAFE exam. His favorite part of the mortgage process is closing day, which he sees as the culmination of the entire team's hard work and a moment of celebration for clients.

Outside of work, Josh is actively involved with St. Patrick's Catholic Church and enjoys boating, hiking, attending his kids' concerts and soccer games, and watching University of Michigan basketball and football. Josh and his wife, Tana, have been married for more than 20 years and have three children, Jagger, Arya, and Vayla, along with their Goldendoodle, Oakley.
