Jeff Garman joined the Navy at 17 years old to travel the world, grow up a little and earn his college education. Even though launching airplanes off the flight deck of the USS Nimitz did not become his calling, the 4 years he spent in the military made him the person he is today.
After the Navy Jeff began his work to become entrenched in the financial industry. Once he earned his college degree, he began his career with a financial firm in Denver helping raise money to help small companies go public. From there, he worked for Merrill Lynch and a few large banks in the commercial lending arena. In 1999, he decided that mortgage lending would be a great fit and has never looked back.
Jeff has owned his own mortgage company and has taken on the role of VP of sales and Director of Business Development for other Companies over the years. However, has never stopped personally originating mortgages himself. He takes pride in helping individuals and families achieve their dreams of homeownership and feels that is the most fulfilling part of his job.
He believes strongly in educating his clients and making sure they are always well prepared before making the biggest financial decision of their lives. He is employed by Northpointe Bank as the Director of Business Development and Senior Loan Officer and he is the owner of Homebuy101.com, an informational web site and Blog that promotes lots of “learn before you buy” topics and programs that educate would be Homebuyers. Jeff always makes sure every one of his clients has a 5 star experience when buying or refinancing a home with him and his team.
Jeff is a native of Colorado, has two grown boys a beautiful fiancé, a couple dogs and loves the outdoors. He hikes, rides dirt bikes, mountain bikes and gets on the ski slopes as much as he can.
